Filling a cancelled appointment slot
A waitlist workflow that gives the next matching customer a chance to take an appointment before the slot goes cold.
The business problem
A cancellation creates a small revenue problem. Manually checking a waitlist, sending messages, and updating the calendar takes time that a small team usually does not have.
The system response
When a cancellation is recorded in Google Sheets, the workflow finds the next matching person, sends an SMS offer, waits for a response, and books the slot in Google Calendar when they confirm. If the offer expires, it moves to the next person.
